Season Overview
The JAG group follows a 9-month season, ending in May. Swimmers who qualify for Festivals will continue training into June 2027. Training schedules may be adjusted during this extended period.
Group Focus

For swimmers ages 8–11

Skill-based training with emphasis on:

Technique in all four strokes: Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle

Consistent work off the blocks and walls

Perfecting skills for advancement into TAG

Registration Fees

JAG (Travel): $2,600 (includes Swim Alberta fees, swim meet entry fees)

JAG (Home): $2,100 (includes Swim Alberta fees, AMAC home meet entry fees)
Commitments
-
Fundraising Obligation: JAG Travel $400 JAG and JAG Home $300 (helps offset registration fees)
-
Bingos: 3 per family per season (regardless of number of children)

Hosted Swim Meets: Each family is responsible for volunteering for each session at all 3 hosted meets (4–5 sessions per meet, 2–3 days each)
