UCSC Dino Cup 2026

 Calgary, AB — April 11–12, 2026 — Congratulations to all of the 10&under AMAC swimmers who absolutely crushed it at the Dino Cup! Coach Norah had so much fun on deck with everyone and loved seeing the speedy racing everyone brought to Calgary! 

Heart and Hustle: 

Emmy Robinson had some massive drops in all her races over the weekend and she did this after just getting back tired from a trip and still had the biggest smile on her face all day Saturday when she did not have her team mates with her. Her positive attitude and attention to detail made for a fantastic weekend both in and out of the pool. Well done Emmy!

Lucy Pattison had lots of best times this past weekend with multiple top 8 finishes. Her best swim came in the 50 breast where she was able to snag a 2nd place in the 50 breast! She did a great job of listening to the race plan and executing super well resulting in lots of PB’s. Another great weekend of racing for Lucy. Well done!

Swim of the Meet:

Kate Kotze worked super hard from start to finish over the course of the weekend. She dropped lots of time in her 100 free giving her the confidence to rock a solid 200 free which she did! She did a great job of keeping her head down at all 7 flipturns and finished 3rd with a new best time! Well done Kate!

Arianna Mori had a lot of great swims this weekend but the 200 free stood out amongst the rest. She told coach Norah that she was going to keep her legs steady and big the entire race and her legs did not slow down for a single lap! With this great effort, Arianna managed to snag not only a big PB, but 1st place in this event! Well done Arianna!
