Edmonton, December 11–14, 2025 – JP Fiset

We had a great showing at the JP Fiset(Edmonton) this past weekend. Loads of best times, second swims both A and B finals and some top place finishes! The team support and vibes on deck were a 10/10 and it was such a great way to end the first block of work and racing for this swim season. We had great showings on both sides of the country!

 

• The swim of the meet goes to Leo Yonkman. Leo had many standout swims this weekend. Leo went 100% best times across the board and was able to make second swims at this meet for the first time. The swim that stood out to the most was his 100 Breast where he dropped from 1:14 he swam just a few weeks ago down to a 1:11! Leo is now knocking on the door of being in the 1:10 club for the 100 breast which is a pretty great club to be apart of for breast stroke. It is great to see all of his hard work and dedication pay off. Well done Leo!

 

• Heart and Hustle goes to Maso Mori, who had a very challenging “back to back” effort this last weekend. Masao had the 100 fly and 400 free back to back in the morning less than 6 min apart. Not only was he able to go a best time in both swims, he was able to make both finals and drop another two best times(and another club record) in the evening! He also managed to snag 3rd(100 fly) and 2nd(400 free)!
