Coaches Shout Out:
Winter Championships: Another Championship meet and another AMAZING performance from everyone this last weekend in Edmonton! We had loads of best times, multiple second swims and many top place finishes! The team support this weekend was unmatched as we had AMAC swimmers alongside cheering on their teammates and helping each other reach their best potential all weekend in the pool.
Swim Of The Meet: These two swimmers did such an amazing job all weekend solidifying their finals positions in the preliminary heats and excelling above and beyond in their finals. Masao Mori and Rowynn Biffart smashed multiple club records this last weekend and managed to bring home 11 medals for AMAC! Well done guys!
Heart and Hustle: Lily McWilliams had a fantastic meet with lots of best times and multiple second efforts. The most impressive afternoon she had was when she had a Swim Off at the start of finals where she dropped from a 33 in the morning to a 31.50 at night! Only moments after this swim, Lily had to turn around, stand back up in the girls 100 free final where she moved up multiple placements and swam right on her best time she had just set in the morning! A great example of mental toughness to do both of these things on the last night of a 4 day meet. Well done Lily!!
